Hi, I’m Alicia and the owner of Buffalo Soap Co!

My brand was created with the goal of using premium, essential and natural ingredients that help make the skin healthy.

On my quest towards a toxic free lifestyle, I found myself unhappy with commercial grade “natural” products. I decided I was going to make my own goat milk soap with a short list of ingredients I could actually pronounce. After countless hours spent formulating recipe after recipe and learning from my failures, I began to create some wonderful soap. After sharing my adventure on social media, I had a ton of friends interested in purchasing my soap. Which has led me to right this very moment.

Thanks for being here and I hope you enjoy my soaps as much as my family and I do!

From the Earth,

for your body

Every ingredient is considered when being added to my product. If it’s not natural, it’s not on my label!

Pure Essential Oils

As fragrances are known to contain BPA’s and phthalates which disrupt endocrine sensors, I use only 100% pure essential oils in the products.

Clays, Charcoal & Colorants

Rest assure that my products are as close to the Earth as you can get. Free of dyes and synthetic colorants, I use clays from across the world, activated charcoal, spices, herbs, vegetables, root powders and botanicals to naturally color my soaps. Since they’re harvested from the Earth, these additives and colorants contain a ton of nutrient rich vitamins and minerals which help to support skin health.

Goat milk

Instead of combining my sodium hydroxide with water, I like to use locally sourced raw goat milk (cruelty free). This allows for a creamier consistency due to the naturally occurring fats in the milk. Goat milk is rich in both saturated and unsaturated fats, making it ideal for soap production. Saturated fats increase a soap’s lather while unsaturated fats provide moisture and nourishing properties. Goat milk is high in vitamin A, a fat-soluble vitamin shown to have anti-aging properties. It’s also a natural exfoliant and very calming. Lactic acid, a naturally occurring AHA found in goat milk soap, has been shown to gently remove the top layer of dead skin cells allowing for a more youthful complexion.
